Emma Johnson's work deals with the manipulation of architectural space, and the use of 
very temporary materials to make transient, site specific works.  Working mainly with 
installation she uses obsessive collection, catergorisation, fragmentation and juxtaposition
of images and text to explore recurring themes of identity, duality, alienation and contradiction
within the human condition - often taking objects and images wawy from their original context
and questioning their perceived symbolism.
